From Campus to Campaigns: Meet MarketingMel's Intern- Jaidyn Goode!

Meet MarketingMel’s PR intern, Jaidyn Goode! Originally from Memphis, Tennessee Jaidyn now thrives

in Johnson City and is a senior at East Tennessee State University, pursuing a Marketing degree with a concentration in Integrated Marketing Communications.  

In her current roles, Jaidyn shines as a PR & Marketing Intern at MarketingMel. Passionate about impacting communities, volunteering at meaningful events, and creating purposeful communication, Jaidyn finds fulfillment in work that creates lasting, positive change. With Mel, she has had firsthand interactions with major clients who are making a difference in the world. She was able to help Mel as she sought bicycle donations for her client to give to children in need at an upcoming Back to School event. Jaidyn has also gotten to go behind the scenes as Mel helps her clients promote their worthy causes on television and other media. Jaidyn helps design Mel’s strategic newsletter campaigns  with successful open rates of greater than 67%. Using both MailChimp and Wix she takes Mel’s regular Substack posts and provides fresh content to Mel’s owned media platforms including newsletter, blog and website. Jaidyn believes in authenticity and she always encourages others to make an impact as well. 

Jaidyn also works as a Leasing Specialist at Phillips Management where she plans community events, and fosters authentic resident engagement. She has also supported local veteran entrepreneurship and event logistics through her work with the TSBDC STRIVE Program, since 2022. 

Outside of work, Jaidyn enjoys traveling, exploring new creative outlets, meeting new people and journaling her goals and growth. She is very involved in ETSU’s campus life and is a part of three organizations including: Preview and Orientation Leader Organization, American Marketing Association VP of Community and Social Impact, and College of Business and Technology (CBAT) Peer Leader. She’s a community connector who believes real marketing starts with listening and ends in lasting impact. She loves contributing to Mel’s work through personalized, client engagement. Jaidyn looks forward to creating campaigns that truly speak to people and spark connections. Her journey is just getting started and she is so excited to see where it goes!
